5 Function DCC Decoder

The Lococruiser Lc101 basic decoder has 5 handy, fully programmable functions ideal for todays DCC operators. Conforming to NRMA standards, and fitted with an 8 -pin plug installation is very straight forward and programming is very simple using the information leaflet provided.

For steam locomotives , the five functions are ideal for a firebox flicker effect, and array of running lights in either direction of travel.

For Diesel or electric locomotives you could program the tail lights to be operator controlled for example, so when your loco is not in use, red lights could show at both ends. Also individual cab lights can be illumiated - the choice is yours ! ( However this does depend on how the loco has been wired by the manufacturer of course).

Another feature is the very slow running that is possible. On our test bed a Bachmann "DELTIC" locomotive took one hour and 8 minutes to travel one yard ! Not that anyone would really want to go that slow , but thats control !

When adding LEDs to LocoCruiser please use resistors in the range of 470 and 1K ohms
